Catch THE MASTERMIND – if you can – in theaters October 17th!

Director Kelly Reichardt’s new film reunites her with Cinematographer Christopher Blauvelt, in a story that follows a 1970s suburban family man living a double life as an art thief who steals paintings by the early modernist Arthur Dove.

The story was inspired by the real 1972 robbery of the Worcester Art Museum in Massachusetts, in which two Gauguins, a Picasso, and a Rembrandt were stolen.

Josh O’Connor and Alana Haim lead the cast. The film first bowed at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and more recently at the 2025 New York Film Festival.
