NEW YORK FILM CRITICS CIRCLE ANNOUNCES 2024 WINNERS

A big congratulations to our clients whose work was lauded by the New York Film Critics Circle as part of their 2024 awards announcements.

JANET PLANET took home the prize for Best First Film. The Annie Baker-directed film follows  11-year-old Lacy who spends the long summer at home with her mother and three strangers, enthralled by her own imagination. Teresa Mastropierro was the film’s Production Designer.

Carol Kane was honored with Best Supporting Actress for her work in Nathan Silver’s BETWEEN THE TEMPLES, shot by Sean Price Williams. Starring Jason Schwartzman, the film centers on a cantor in a crisis of faith who finds his world turned upside down when his grade school music teacher reenters his life as his new adult bat mitzvah student.

The annual awards gala will be held on Jan. 8, 2025 in New York City.
