Cinematographer Richard Rutkowski, ASC & Director Dee Rees on MASTERS OF THE AIR – The Process – Deadline

Cinematographer Richard Rutkowski, ASC and Director Dee Rees joined Matt Grobar on Deadline’s ‘The Process’ interview series to explain how they captured the “heart-pounding reality” of the ‘Bloody Hundredth”s WWII experience in MASTERS OF THE AIR.

Rees and Rutkowski have been frequent collaborators since working together on her Oscar-nominated film, MUDBOUND, released by Netflix in 2017.

“Masters of The Air” debuted this January on Apple TV+, and stars Austin Butler, Callum Turner, Barry Keoghan, and many more. Rees and Rutkowski took the reins for Episodes 7 and 8 of the series.
