BORIS MOJSOVSKI ASC, CSC, ASBH ON HIS NEW FILM ‘FOREIGN TONGUE’

Boris Mojsovski, ASC, CSC, ASBH was recently interviewed by IndieWrap Mag and Film Threat about his new film, FOREIGN TONGUE.

In the film, a cynical North American woman wakes up speaking with a Bosnian accent, becoming the most unlikely ‘immigrant’.

Boris tells IndieWrap the story stems from “my own experience as a Bosnian refugee as I, after coming to North America (Canada) lived through the cultural shock, the language barriers, the cultural misreadings, the subtle and not-so-subtle exclusions, and the resilience required to keep going.”

Boris explains to FilmThreat he “made this film in the hope that audiences might laugh, feel unsettled, recognize themselves, and perhaps leave the theatre seeing the world, and each other, a little differently.”
