32nd JFBB SPECIAL HONOR

Congratulations to Maayane Bouhnik who was specially honored at the opening night ceremony of the 2026 Jewish Film Festival Berlin Brandenburg.

Actress and director Maria Schrader presented the Award for the Promotion of Emerging Filmmakers to Maayane for her work on the film WHERE TO? directed by Assaf Machnes.

JFBB highlights Jewish history, present and future with the mission to keep the memory of the Shoah alive, to convey historical awareness and to counteract anti-Semitic attitude patterns.

The 32nd JFBB takes place from May 5th to May 10th, 2026.
