24th DGC AWARDS – NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED

Congratulations to Peter Cosco for his Best Production Design – Film nomination from the 24th annual Directors Guild of Canada Awards!

Peter is nominated for his work on R.T. Thorne’s film 40 ACRES, which leads the nominees with five nods including Feature Film Crew of the Year, Outstanding Directorial Achievement, Best Picture Editing, and Best Sound Editing.

The film stars Danielle Deadwyler as a former soldier surviving on an isolated farm after a series of plagues and wars. When a vicious militia that wants to seize their land, her family makes one last stand.

40 ACRES first premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival and was released in theaters this summer – now available on demand.
