2025 LES PRIX AFC – Nominations Announced

The French Society of Cinematographers has announced their nominees for the 2nd annual Prix AFC!

Franz Lustig has been nominated for Feature Film Best Picture for his work on PERFECT DAYS, as well as Documentary Best Picture for his work on ANSELM, both directed by Wim Wenders.

PERFECT DAYS follows toilet cleaner Hirayama as he reflects on finding beauty in the world, while ANSELM is a 3D documentary chronicling the work of artist Anselm Kiefer.

Both films first premiered at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, and PERFECT DAYS was nominated for Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards.
